Visit of Anhui leaders to the Institute of Electronics

Sun Dianyi accompanies Zhang Qingjun, Song Guoquan and other leaders during a visit to the exhibition hall

 

On March 7, 2014, Mr. Zhang Qingjun, Mayor of Hefei City, as well as Mr. Song Guoquan, Municipal Party Secretary of Tongling City and other related leaders of Hefei City, visited the Institute of Electronics. A scientific and technological cooperation seminar was then held by Mr. Sun Dianyi, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Institute of Electronics.

 

Mr. Sun Dianyi provided a brief introduction to the Institute of Electronics. The principals of Labs 9, 10, 11 and GeoDo Co. offered presentations regarding sensors, ground penetrating radars, FPGA chips and the progress of the GeoDo Earth project. After listening to the reports of related laboratories, Mr. Zhang Qingjun highly affirmed the scientific level of the Institute of Electronics, and expressed his hopes for comprehensive cooperation. He clearly expressed wishes to adopt the sensor technology for environmental monitoring of Chaohu Lake, GeoDo Earth for the smart-city construction of Hefei, electromagnetic radiation and detection technology for bridges, roads and other maintenance projects, and FPGA chips for smart electronic devices. He also stated that he hoped the Institute of Electronics would establish R&D institutions in Hefei, thereby promoting the economic and social development of Heifei City and enhancing regional innovation capability.

 

Prior to the seminar, Mr. Sun Dianyi accompanied Mr. Zhang Qingjun, Mr. Song Guoquan and other leaders to visit related laboratories and technological achievement showrooms.
