On June 25, 2013, the Institute of Electronics of Chinese Academy of Science director Wu Yirong and the group along with him went to 28th Institute of CETC (China Electronics Technology Group Corporation) for visit and survey. The main accompanying leaders include Fu Kun, assistant to the director, Zhang Yi, director of the Technology Department. The main leaders of the 28th Institute of CETC attending the symposium include Lan Yushi, Director of the institute, Zhou Zhongyuan, Deputy Director of the institute, Pan Jianqun, Head of Chief Engineer Office and Heads from relevant research departments.
China Electronic Science is our country’s backbone research institute mainly undertaking command automation system engineering researches. It mainly undertakes research and development of all kinds of command and control systems and meanwhile undertakes research and development of all kinds of electronic information systems. It has solid technological strength in terms of system overall design, software development, system integration and systems supporting equipments.
In this symposium, Director Wu first introduced the basic situations of the Institute of Electronics and Director Lan from the 28th Institute introduced the basic situation of the 28th Institute to Director Wu from the aspects of unit basic information, main fields and the present cooperative situation of the two units. Then Director Wu visited the 1st Research Department and 7th Research Department of the 28th Institute respectively and relevant staff introduced technology and achievements of the 28th Institute in the aspect of command information system. After the visit, people from two institutes conducted enthusiastic communication and discussion. Both parties thought that the Institute of Electronics and the 28th Institute had complementary relationships in subject direction and could conduct close cooperation in multiple directions and forge strategic cooperative relationships.
At last, Director Wu invited Director Lan to come to the Institute of Electronics for visit and survey and Director Lan accepted the invitation with delight.
