On November 28, the Editorial Department of the Journal of Radars attended the 3rd Technical Seminar on Microwave Remote Sensing in Wuyishan, Fujian Province as its partner. Hong Wen, a member of the Editorial Committee of the Journal of Radars, was invited to deliver an exchange report.

At the seminar, the editorial department made in-depth communication with some delegates to find out the trends of microwave remote sensing and expand the influence of the journal. The journal placed on a booth in the main venue attracted the vast majority of delegates, and the paper publication, CD and publicity materials of journal were popular, producing good publicity effect.

The National Key Lab of Microwave Imaging Technology, IECAS attended the seminar as its co-organizer, too. Several researchers of the laboratory delivered academic reports and made extensive and in-depth communication with delegates. Researcher Hong Wen, the executive deputy director of the laboratory and a member of the editorial committee of the journal, was invited to a special report at the opening ceremony, too.

Organized by the Space Remote Sensing Committee, Chinese Society of Space Research and Beijing Branch, Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, IEEE, and undertaken by the National Space Science Center, CAS and Key Laboratory of Microwave Remote Sensing, CAS, the seminar has been the largest of its kind in China in recent years.
