At the invitation of Key Laboratory of Electromagnetic Radiation and Detection Technology, German scientist Dr. Eberhard Pulz from GeoForschungsZentrum Postsdamd visited the Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IECAS) from July 16 to 25 for the academic exchange on calibration technique for magnetic induction sensor.

During his visit, Dr. E Pulz introduced in details his design of single-axis solenoid calibration coil system, and carried out deep discussion with the IECAS researchers on research of technologies related to magnetic induction sensor, providing a profound sight over the foreign technological achievements in this field.

During this exchange, Dr. E Pulz also visited Huailai Research Base Station in company with the IECAS researchers to conduct installation and testing of single-axis solenoid calibration coil system, and discussed the design plan and manufacturing details of calibration coil system.

As a senior researcher from Germany-based GeoForschungsZentrum Postsdamd, Dr. Eberhard Pulz has been engaged in research of magnetic field sensors for many years and published important articles in lots of periodicals, occupying a world leading position in terms of research of solenoid calibration systems.
